Weekday STEM-MBA – Business and Technology track overview
As a student in the weekday STEM-MBA track, you’ll attend classes on campus, in person. Most classes are scheduled during the evenings. The MBA is approved as STEM for domestic students; it is pending approval as STEM for international students. Practical training is defined as an approved work experience that is an integral part of the MBA program and is directly related to your major area of study. You can complete the required professional practice hours by working on either a practical project, a client project, or in an internship. Practical training can be part-time (20 hours or less a week) or full-time (more than 20 hours a week), and may be paid or unpaid.
If you’re an international student interested in the program, visit the Alliant International Student Services Office (ISSO) web page and learn more about Curricular Practical Training (CPT) by visiting our catalog, and our website.
Class schedule: For each course, you’ll attend ground classes once a week in the evening. Each course lasts eight weeks.
