California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University

PsyD in Clinical Psychology

San Francisco Campus

Professional Information

Licensed Clinical Psychologist at Berkeley Therapy Institute and Private Practice in the Bay Area and Los Angeles

Q: How did your Alliant experience prepare you for your career?

A: My experience at Alliant prepared me to be able to work well with a diverse population of individuals. At Alliant, diversity and differences are always welcome, which aided me in my clinical work while in the PsyD program and to this day in my current practice. I am so grateful for the courses, workshops, practicum, and internships that fostered a space of cultural humility and social justice teachings.

Q: What you enjoy most about your work?

A: I feel so grateful and privileged to be able to witness my client's vulnerability during their darkest days and celebrate victoriously when steps forward have been taken.

Q: What inspires you to make a positive difference in the world?

A: Vulnerability and courage.

Q: Any advice you have for current students.

A: Take it slow and find times to truly listen to yourself. Our work is challenging and absolutely rewarding. Engage in your own psychotherapy as early as possible, getting to know yourself deeper is an absolute gift and powerful tool.
