School of Management Chapter of Honorary and Professional Fraternity Wins National Award

SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- April 12, 2013 -- Alliant School of Management's (ASM) chapter of Sigma Iota Epsilon (SIE) was selected Chapter of the Year on April 12, 2013. SIE is a national honorary and professional management fraternity affiliated with the Academy of Management. The Alliant chapter operates out of its San Diego campus.

SIE advisor, Dr. Louise Kelly, professor of strategy at ASM, received the award from National President James Francis. This is an important reward for the hard work put in by the members of the chapter, including SIE President Joseph Higgins, a current PhD in leadership student.

SIE is open to all students with a GPA above 3.5 (3.25 for undergraduates) and an interest in management or a management-related area. Alliant International University has had a SIE chapter in San Diego since 1995 when is operated as United States International University (USIU).
