Bio and Links

Beth Houskamp joined the faculty of the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) at Alliant International University in 2010. She is Professor and Program Director in the PsyD Program at CSPP Los Angeles. She is also the Founder and Director of the Neurodevelopment Assessment Clinic at the Los Angeles Campus. Prior to joining the faculty at CSPP, Dr. Houskamp was Professor of Clinical Psychology and Founder and Director of the Pediatric Neurodevelopment Institute at Azusa Pacific University.

Dr. Houskamp’s primary area of expertise is in understanding children’s behavior and problems and working with children and their families from a neurodevelopmental perspective. Her particular area of focus in on children who are intellectually gifted, and shhe has given workshops, trainings, and research presentations at national and international conferences addressing the cognitive and emotional development, as well as behavioral challenges in gifted children.
