Our Mission:

The California School of Forensic Studies (CSFS) is dedicated to providing education and training in forensic psychology and related fields to prepare individuals for clinical and private professional practice, teaching, research and community service in our diverse global society. CSFS strives to impact public opinion and policy through scientific research and evidence-based practices. To realize our mission, CSFS offers programs and services that meet the highest professional and ethical standards.

Forensic Psychology is a dynamic career field bridging law and psychology. At the California School of Forensic Studies (CSFS) we are on the forefront of redefining and expanding the traditional definitions of forensic psychology and forensic studies. At the core of our current academic program are our Forensic PsyD and Forensic clinical PhD and Forensic non-clinical PhD programs.  Students of each of our programs are supported to attain core clinical skills, as well as gain extensive knowledge in forensic-related topics such as criminal psychology and behavior, and the judicial system.  Students also have the opportunity to study forensic issues such as stalking, homeland security, human trafficking and public policy.

Many graduates of our clinical programs go on to become licensed psychologists, working with law enforcement or in correctional settings, or working on forensic-related issues in private practice.  Others apply their expertise in academia or toward informing public policy.

We invite you to learn more about CSFS and to join our graduates who are applying their skills and knowledge to make a difference in our world.
