SPECIAL LOS ANGELES PROGRAM FEATURES
Emphasis Areas: Students in the Clinical Psychology PhD program in LA are required to select one of four emphasis areas:
- Clinical health psychology (CH)
- Family and couple (FACE)
- Multicultural-community clinical psychology (MCCP)
- Multi-interest option (MIO)
FIFTH-YEAR INTERNSHIP
We strongly encourage students to pursue a fifth-year, full-time APA-accredited internship. If personal circumstances make this impossible, a two-year, half-time internship training model in the fourth and fifth years is acceptable.
