Clinical Psychology PhD Los Angeles

A SCHOLAR-PRACTITIONER MODEL

The APA-accredited Clinical Psychology PhD program at Alliant International University's Los Angeles campus follows a scholar-practitioner model, an integrative framework that builds upon the conviction that scholarship and practice must occur concurrently.

RELEVANT METHODS SERVING DIVERSE POPULATIONS

Underlying the program are two core principles:

  • A commitment to seeing mental health and mental illness in sociocultural and sociopolitical contexts
  • Our belief that methods of research and intervention must be relevant to the culture in which they are conducted.

A UNIQUELY DIVERSE LEARNING COMMUNITY

The Clinical Psychology PhD program in Los Angeles prides itself on the diversity of the learning community. Our location in Los Angeles, not only one of the most exciting and dynamic American cities but also a unique global hub in the Pacific Rim, offers a rich urban environment.
