Alumni and Friends Newsletter | Summer 2014

Dear CSPP Alumni and Friends,

Graduation is a celebration of completing a long academic journey full of learning and growth, and also a time of enthusiastic new beginnings. Here at CSPP, we just completed our annual commencement ceremonies. We were fortunate to have many distinguished commencement speakers who shared their wisdom with our graduates in our Fresno, Los Angeles, Mexico City, San Diego and San Francisco ceremonies . Among our outstanding commencement speakers this year were our very own Dr. Jei Africa (CSPP-SF Clinical PsyD '02 and Postdoctoral MS in Clinical Psychopharmacology '07) in San Francisco and Dr. Susan Regas, long-time professor, in Los Angeles.

We also say goodbye to CSPP's Dean for the past five years, Dr. Morgan Sammons, who has accepted a position as the Executive Officer of the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Sammons for all of his contributions to CSPP.

We now officially welcome our new Interim Dean Dr. Dalia Ducker, who has been with CSPP over thirty years as core faculty, Program Director and most recently, Associate Dean.
