Alliant School of Management announces new concentrations in Global Studies and NGO Management

SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- Feb. 14, 2013 -- Alliant School of Management (ASM) recently added new concentrations to their business programs, showcasing their experience in international affairs and highlighting Alliant’s commitment to multiculturalism and diversity.

In the B.S. Business Administration program, students can now choose the Global Studies Concentration, which includes topics such as globalization and organizational culture, along with an international practicum that encourages students to study and intern abroad through ASM's various partner schools. In the MBA program, students can now choose the NGO Management concentration, which also includes an international practicum along with topics such as contemporary issues in the global political economy.

“We have created these new concentrations to benefit any of our students with an interest in globalization and international affairs, especially if they wish to work in other areas of the world,” says ASM Faculty Member, Dr. Saba Ozyurt. “We are especially excited about the international practicum, which gives students the opportunity to gain real, first-hand work experience in another country as part of their degree. This combination of theory and practice will, we hope, serve our students well as they prepare for the next step in their careers."
