Provost Seed Money Grant Winners Announced

The Provost’s Office of Alliant International University sponsors Provost Seed Money grants each year. This competitive program encourages faculty to pursue pilot research that can form the basis for competitive grant submissions for outside funding. In addition to potential funding, the grants further the university’s mission of applied research and scholarship.

Congratulations to this year’s Provost Seed Money Grant recipients:  

  • Dr. Sopagne Eap Braje, PhD program in Clinical Psychology, CSPP-San Diego, “Cross-Cultural Differences in Socioemotional Experiences: Processes and Outcomes of Written Emotional Disclosure between Cambodian and American College Students” - $4,000 awarded
  • Drs. Marina Dorian, PsyD program in Clinical Psychology, CSPP-San Diego, and Tatiana Glebova, Couple and Family Therapy program, CSPP-Sacramento, “Trust in Russia: A Systemic Approach” - $4,000 awarded
  • Dr. Saba Ozyurt, International Relations program, ASM-San Diego, “Integrating Religion and Religious Competency Tools into International Studies Research and Teaching: An Exploratory Analysis of Faith-based Non-Governmental Organizations’ Impact on Global Human Development” - $1,500 awarded
