Bio and Links
As Faculty of the School of Management, Alliant International University, Dr. Petersen teaches Strategy and General Management and conducts research in the areas of strategy, corporate governance, social responsibility and social/environmental management.
He has experience working with for-profit and not-for-profit entities and has worked in or served in a consulting capacity across many industries including construction, energy, waste treatment, industry development in developing economies, clean technology, and micro-finance.
Aside from serving as an educator, researcher, and consultant, Dr. Petersen is also involved in a number of business community organizations such as Connect San Diego, San Diego Corporate Social Responsibility Roundtable, and the Clean Tech Open, to name a few.
Dr. Petersen has a Ph.D. in Strategy and Sustainable Development, a Master of Science in Energy and Environmental Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Cellular, Molecular, Microbial Biology (CMMBI) and Zoology.
